About me: Tala in Swedish means talk or speak, so we were told and in Native American Indian it means wolf. Tala took the Swedish meaning to heart and was definitely very‘talkative’. She was my shadow and never left my side; she had an absolutely fantastic temperament, extremely loving and excellent with children and other dogs. She lived and exercised daily with 7 border collies and a jack russell cross.
Tala did very well in the show ring and took Best Puppy in Show at The Alaskan Malamute Club Of Great Britain’s first Championship Show in 2006 under Sharon Weston(USA) who wrote:
“The Best Puppy made no mistake and was all I was looking for in a puppy”
Following on from this she went on to win Reserve Best in Show at Birtley and District Canine Society Open Show, took 3 Best of Breeds and then Best Bitch at Three Counties Championship Show under Judge Keith Givens.
In her show career she did extremely well and went on to gain many more achievements in and out of the ring before leaving us at the early age of 11. She is missed incredibly everyday.
